Nobody loves;
Nobody cares;
Nobody fights your battle until they have a profit share;
To each his own; the world reckons,
Brotherhood, peace & love are but jargons.
At the feet of the lord, they say "I do"
Back in life, they say " I do what I want to"
An interview promises the world at your feet;
A few months at it and you are dragging your feet.
Parents tend you with love & care,
To see the child grow responsible & fair,
Over the years priorities change;
The child is a man and he is out in his plane.
Gratitude, compassion, love and peace are just words;
They bring some depth only if the heart cares.
